{"id":4426,"date":"2025-10-01T16:39:59","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T20:39:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/landart.ca\/cocktail-liver-lover\/"},"modified":"2025-12-17T11:20:14","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T16:20:14","slug":"cocktail-liver-lover","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/landart.ca\/en\/cocktail-liver-lover\/","title":{"rendered":"LIVER LOVER cocktail"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>LIVER LOVER<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd oz Milk-Thistle<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd oz Campari<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd oz Ginger shrub*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A creation by Mixologist Daniel Boulianne from Speakeasy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/thecoldroommtl\/?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Coldroom<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>*To make your own ginger shrub:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 cup fresh ginger, peeled and sliced<\/li>\n<li>1 cup apple cider vinegar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 to 1 cup sugar (depending on how sweet you like it)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Heat the peeled ginger slices and apple cider vinegar in a small saucepan until the vinegar begins to simmer around the edges of the pan. Remove from heat and pour the contents into a glass, Pyrex, or steel container. Let cool completely, then cover with plastic wrap or a lid and let sit for 24 hours at room temperature. Strain the liquid without squeezing the ginger for 5 minutes. Your liquid yield should be between 2\/3 cup to almost 1 cup. Compost the ginger and pour the liquid into a small saucepan. Add the sugar. Stir over high heat until it comes to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Cool completely. Pour into a glass jar and cover. Refrigerate.
