Aloe Vera: A natural ally for our digestive system
Since ancient times, aloe vera has been recognized for its many medicinal properties. Among its most notable benefits is its beneficial effect on the digestive system. Thanks to its richness in enzymes, amino acids, polysaccharides, and other essential nutrients, aloe vera acts as a true natural support to improve digestion, soothe intestinal discomfort, and promote healthy bowel movements.
The main benefits of aloe vera on the digestive system
- Soothes pain and reduces inflammation : Aloe vera gel contains anti-inflammatory compounds that can help soothe irritated lining of the stomach and intestines, especially in cases of acid reflux, gastritis, or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
- Stimulates mucosal repair : Aloe vera has a dual effect that helps our bodies heal. Thanks to its polysaccharides like acemannan, aloe vera stimulates the multiplication of fibroblasts, the cells responsible for collagen production. By increasing in number, fibroblasts accelerate the repair of damaged tissue. Finally, the bradykinase and glycoproteins in aloe vera reduce localized inflammation, creating favorable conditions for healing.
- Promotes the regulation of transit : Aloe vera acts as a natural regulator of intestinal transit, relieving both constipation and episodes of diarrhea thanks to its balancing effect.
- Supports intestinal flora : By promoting the growth of good gut bacteria, aloe vera contributes to a healthier microbiota, essential for efficient digestion.
Aloe vera drinkable gel or juice: what are the differences?
Although often confused, our aloe vera drinkable gels and aloe vera juices differ primarily in their texture. The amount of aloe vera in our gels and juices remains the same (99.7% and 99.9%). We use a 10X liquid concentrate and add purified water to achieve the same concentration found naturally in the original leaf.
- The drinkable gel : Thanks to its more viscous texture, we particularly recommend our drinkable gels for people suffering from heartburn and acid reflux. Aloe vera in drinkable gel adheres better to the inner walls and allows it to remain and act longer in the esophagus and stomach. To obtain a viscous and smooth texture, we only use xanthan gum, because it allows it to gel without the need for heating and it is also a gum that is not inflammatory (unlike other brands that use carrageenan instead).

- The aloe vera juice : Our juices are nothing like commercial juices containing aloe vera. Our juices are much more concentrated! And contrary to popular belief, our juices contain the same amount of aloe vera as our drinkable gels. We particularly recommend our juices for people suffering from intestinal problems. Our aloe vera juice will reduce inflammation, soothe irritations, and help repair damaged mucous membranes. Our aloe vera will therefore help restore your intestinal health.
