A refreshing recipe with spirulina, vegan cream cheese, basil, and strawberries. A waffle that will please everyone!
Ingredients:
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp Land Art Unflavored spirulina
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
- Bunch of chopped basil
- 2 tbsp vegan cream cheese
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
- ½ cup warm water
- 1 cup plant-based milk
For garnish:
- Vegan cream cheese
- Strawberries
- Basil leaves
Preparation and Cooking Steps:
- Preheat the waffle iron.
- In a bowl, place the chopped basil with the warm water.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, flavorless spirulina, and ground flax seeds, then set aside.
- In a second bowl, beat the coconut oil and vegan cream cheese with a food processor until you have a homogeneous texture. Then add the basil and warm water to the mixture.
- Incorporate the homogeneous mixture into the dry ingredients and add the hemp seeds. Continue mixing with the food processor.
- Gradually add the plant-based milk.
- Pour the batter by the ladle into your waffle iron and cook until the waffles are light or crispy.
