And yes—summer wouldn’t be complete without homemade smoothie and slush recipes. But this one has a little something extra. It includes several ingredients that support physical and mental performance and give you a gentle energy boost that lasts for hours! In this recipe, you’ll find schisandra, yerba mate, kola nut, Siberian ginseng, and carnitine—powerful ingredients that stimulate the central nervous system, improve alertness, fight fatigue, increase physical and mental endurance, and provide antioxidant benefits.

That may sound like a lot of ingredients for a simple slush—but don’t worry: you only need one thing—Land Art Canada VOLTA! This little energy powerhouse contains all of the powerful ingredients listed above. You can buy it in packs of ten and keep a stash on hand for those days when fatigue starts to get the upper hand!

There are many ways to enjoy Volta. You can drink it straight from the bottle—the taste is pleasant, just sweet enough, and the bottle is easy to carry in your bag. Personally, I love adding it to my homemade slushies or smoothies—it boosts the nutritional value and makes them even more refreshing! It often replaces my morning coffee, and I love that it doesn’t cause that “heart-racing” feeling. The effect is gentle and long-lasting—nothing like a convenience-store energy drink. Promise!

So today, I’m sharing one of my favorite recipes—simple, effective in every way. Just keep in mind it’s for adults only… unless you’re feeling a bit daring and want to give your kids even more energy than they already have!

Ingredients for 1 slush :

  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • ½ lime, with the peel
  • A few basil leaves
  • 1 full bottle of Volta
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (for those with a sweet tooth!)
  • 1 cup water
  • 15 ml Land Art Pomegranate Aloe Vera Juice*

*Optional, but I always add it to my smoothies and slushies because aloe vera has many benefits, including helping soothe discomfort caused by irritated mucous membranes, supporting and regulating digestive and intestinal function, and promoting toxin elimination.

Directions

Blend all ingredients together, adding more water as needed to reach a perfect slush texture!
