Here’s a fruity, refined, and refreshing iced tea recipe!

  • 2 ripe peaches, cut into large pieces
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp black tea
  • 1 L of water (about 95°C)
  • 2 tbsp cranberry

Instructions
In a small saucepan, bring the water, sugar, and peaches to a boil. Reduce the heat and mash the peach pieces well with a wooden spoon. Once the sugar is fully dissolved, remove from heat and let sit for about 30 minutes.

Steep the black tea in hot water for 4–5 minutes. Once steeped, strain the leaves using a fine sieve, then refrigerate.

When the peach mixture is lukewarm, strain it as well (keep the cooked peaches — they’re delicious with ice cream!). Add the vanilla extract, then refrigerate.

To serve, mix the cranberry into the cold tea, then add the peach syrup to taste. Serve with ice cubes and fresh fruit.

Makes 4 servings.
